In His desire that all souls be saved, Our Lord has lavished us with the graces of His Divine Mercy. Saint Faustina said it best when she wrote in her Diary, “The greater the sinner, the greater his right to God’s mercy,” (423). He does not hold the sins of even the most hardened sinner against them should they approach the tribunal of His Divine Mercy with a repentant heart. So great is the love of Our Lord for souls that he refuses no one.
Jesus’ words for peace applies to us in our troubled times, “Mankind will not have Peace until it turns with trust to my mercy.”
Let us avail ourselves to the praying of the Chaplet of Divine Mercy, venerating the miraculous Divine Mercy Image and participating in the Feast of Mercy on the First Sunday following Easter where it is promised to us remission of sins and punishment.
Our Lord has not held anything back, the floodgates of mercy have been opened!
