The Poor Clare Sisters of Omaha invite you to a Rosary Rally on Friday, the 13th of October 2017 to be held in the Monastery parking lot at 9:30 am. It is a celebration of the 100th Anniversary of the last Apparition of Our Lady of Fatima, during which she fulfilled her promise to manifest a sign of the veracity of the apparitions to Lucia, Francisco and Jacinta.
As the Poor Clare Sisters begin to pray the Rosary, a group of Mount Michael students will join in praying as they walk from the school to the monastery. The Rosary Rally is a thanksgiving and a pledge of love for Mary. It is at the same time a petition for her continued intercession for peace and unity in America and the whole world, and a prayer for more vocations to the Benedictine Abbey and the Poor Clare Monastery. The Rosary will be followed by the Act of Consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary and will conclude with the Song to Our Lady of Fatima: You promised at Fatima each time that you appeared To help us if we pray to you to banish war and fear. Dear Lady… we ask your guiding hand for grace and Guidance here on earth, and protection for our land! During the song, 100 blue balloons will be released, bearing the love, thanksgiving, and prayers of
everyone gathered for the Rosary Rally.
